Sixth International NYU Langone Hip Dysplasia Symposium: Collective Intelligence and Shared Experience

September 8, 2023
Virtual
The sixth iteration of the NYU Langone Hip Dysplasia Symposium will be a two-pronged approach to hip dysplasia. The first part is focused on early identification and optimizing non-operative approaches to hip dysplasia aimed at general orthopedic surgeons who deal with infants, pediatricians, primary care providers, and healthcare allies who see infants potentially affected by hip dysplasia. The second part is a symposium aimed at higher-level pediatric orthopedic surgeons providing a forum for the presentation of research and to share ideas and knowledge.

With a mix of lectures and case-based presentations, participants will gain knowledge of the best practices for:

Identifying hip dysplasia
Treating infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with hip dysplasia
Recognizing complications and pitfalls in treatment and developing strategies to deal with these

Participants will hear from researchers from around the world who are working on cutting-edge technology to improve our understanding of this incredibly common condition.
