Product Overview
Designed to help when inserting cannulated interference screws for bone and soft tissue fixation in tunnels, the screwdriver is deployed using two hands, one pushing on the back of the screwdriver, the other turning the shaft such that the screw progresses into the tunnel
Helps avoid the need to pass a guide wire through the tunnel and out the soft tissues beyond the tunnel, reducing the possibility of damaging other structures or puncturing the surgeons gloves.
The wire extends beyond the screw tip and guides the screw into the tunnel—the extension beyond the tip of the screw keeps the screw from straying away from the tunnel but does not extend so far as to damage any other tissue.
Utilizes a shorter and more rigid guide wire which allows the surgeon to accurately place the screw within the tunnel, and allows the screw to be inserted by pushing and twisting at the same time.
Can also be used to help remove interefence screws.
Drivers available in both Tri Lobe and Hex styles.
Guide pins are for single use only.
