The Load Response knee joint, model LR-9002, allows 18 degress of knee flexion during the stance phase of gait. The lateral joint is equipped with a preloaded spiral torsional spring that provides for shock absorption during stance phase knee flexion while maintaining knee joint stability for individuals with quadriceps weakness.
